Japanese volunteers to help private sectors
Thimphu, October 10: A Japanese NGO Nippon Skilled Volunteer Association of Japan (NISVA) would be sending senior skilled volunteers to Bhutan for the next three years to help the private and corporate sector, vocational and training institutes, public health and agriculture.
NISVA, committed to provide the expertise through volunteers, singed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Royal Civil Service Commission at the later's secretariat on October 8.
Immediatly identified priority areas to absorb the Japanese volunteers are trainers and supervisors for automobile workshops, which would be coordinated through the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI).
The secretary of the Royal Civil Service Commission, Dasho Bap Kesang and Secretary Genreal of NISV, Hiroshi Tanikawa signed the MoU. Bhutan News Service
