India bans AXN in Bhutan

New Delhi, February 05: The Indian ban on AXN since Jan 17 is having its impact in Bhutan, where viewers cannot see the TV channel any more.

According to sources, the Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi announced a ban on AXN, saying the channel’s late night ‘World’s Sexiest Commercials’ 

The Kuensel online version has stated that of the total 45 channels transmitted through India, only 30 are broadcasted in Bhutan. Bhutan News Service
