ICT fare receives few visitors (Nation)
Thimphu, November 17: The week-long fare on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that started in Thimphu saw poor response from the people.
The show, with 15 companies involved in ICT business participating, started Thursday. It was held for the first time in the initiation of the Ministry of Information and Communication to promote use of technology in the country.
The companies in the exhibition have expressed dissatisfaction over the poor management and absence of publicity before the event due to which they have incurred losses in the fare. The coronation celebration overshadowed the publicity of the exhibition.
The visitors to the fare are far less than expected. Bhutan News Service
