High level US delegation to visit Thimphu

New Delhi, February 07: A six-member delegation of highly placed United States officials is scheduled to arrive in Thimphu for a brief visit shortly. 
The delegation includes former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Richard Boucher and former Secretary of State Colin Powell. 
The delegation will hold talks with Prime Minister Jigmi Y Thinley, ministers, lawmakers and other senior government officials.
The delegation will also get an audience from King Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuk and King Father Jigme Singye Wangchuk. This is the highest delegation from US to visit Bhutan in history. Bhutan News Service
