Discussion for a common media organization (Media)

Beldangi, October 09: Bhutanese journalists in exiled discussed possibility of merging all organizations working for press freedom into one for combined efforts.

Representatives of the Association of Press Freedom Activists (APFA) – Bhutan, Bhutan Press Union and Third World Media Network- Bhutan chapter Wednesday make hours-long deliberations on framing strategies to work after being resettled in the western countries.

Three organizations exist among exiled Bhutanese working for press freedom who came together for a common forum Bhutan News Service last year. 

Journalists expressed the complexities they have been experiencing after the beginning of the resettlement process and confusing hover on how they would work from abroad. Though, no conclusions were derived, they agree to continue on the debate for collaborations.
